I created this file for the Glowforge but it can be used on other lasers as well. It makes a perfect entrance for your child's elf and gives a new way for it to arrive this year. Your child is sure to love it! The pieces can be snapped together when they fit snugly as intended, or glued together when the wood thickness is a little off and causes a little looseness. I created my own product using 1/8" MDF from Home Depot which measured 0.120 by caliper and mine fit snugly together without any need to use glue. Wood thickness vary which may cause the need for glue or tab adjustments. There are holes for the head, arms, and legs.
 
This is an SVG file in a zipped folder. Please make sure your software can open and use SVG files before purchasing. I have adjusted the tabs to accomadate for kerf in my machine (Glowforge Pro) but thicknesses of wood always varies. Just because you bought wood that is marked 1/8" or 3 mm does not mean that it measures that exactly. For example, I have 1/8" MDF from Home Depot and my calipers measure some of it at 0.110, some at 0.120, etc. even though 1/8" is 0.125. I can not control these factors so know that it is possible that you may have to slightly alter the files to work exactly right for the wood that you use. This file is designed for wood that is 1/8" or 3 mm thick. 
 
This file is all score and cut with the option to engrave the upward arrow signs if you'd like. The box measures 5 inches x 5 inches x 5 inches. I created the scoring to look like an actual wooden shipping crate. Feel free to personalize in any way that you like. You can make and sale the physical box as often as you'd like but selling the file itself is not allowed and it is illegal to do so. I worked on this file for many hours and cut many samples to get it just right and would love photos of your personalized boxes once complete if you would like to share them! Again, feel free to create the actual box and sell as many of them as you'd like, but absolutely NO resales, sharing, or giveaways or the design itself of any parts of the file please. Resell of this design with some alterations is also not permitted.
